Location. The 70 Park Avenue stands in the historic Murray Hill residential neighborhood of New York City, N.Y. Grand Central Station is located four blocks away while the Empire State Building rises six blocks from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Renowned residential designer Jeffrey Bilhuber applied his distinctive style to this hotel's multi-million dollar renovation. The lobby is decorated with ivory-toned leather couches, a glass-enclosed fireplace and a communal table that doubles as a concierge desk and a guest computer station. Silverleaf Tavern serves American-style cuisine and features an illuminated amethyst-hued glass bar, a custom-designed silver-leaf chandelier, redwood flooring and tufted-leather booths. Tavern specialties include Gilled Flatiron Steak Pizzas and wines by the sip, the "bottomless glass" or by the bottle. Signature cocktails include the Silverleaf Mango-politan. Flexible function space features a 1000-square-foot room that accommodates up to 100 guests. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a fee. Guests receive complimentary passes to an adjacent fitness center.

Guestrooms. The 17-story 70 Park Avenue - a Kimpton Hotel offers 205 guestrooms decorated in soothing cream and muted earth tones. Portable Candela candle lamps create warming glow.
