Here is a nice surprise that we have found in midtown Manhattan. Although it isn't as big as some of its competitors, this hotel has plenty to offer. Now celebrating a century of service to New York City, the Majestic is a beautifully restored hotel, which was built in 1904. This grand old building is just a short walk from all that makes New York famous and exciting. The hotel is conveniently located near theatres of Broadway and Times Square, Central Park and its museums, Carnegie Hall, and Radio City Music Hall. It is only an 8 mile ride to La Guardia International Airport. ideal for the business traveler and the leisure guest alike.

Since the Majestic is a bit smaller than many New York hotels, the service seems to be a bit more satisfying. The staff is attentive to detail and extremely courteous. Should you need to leave your luggage at the hotel after you check out, they can accommodate you easily, and without charge. It is also one of the quieter hotels in the area, due both to the size of the hotel and the older construction techniques.

The roof-top nightclub is better than the average hotel fare, attracting locals as well as hotel guests. Finally, the Majestic has just opened a spa - another rarity for a hotel of this size.
